Whispering Willow Branch Bird Perch Feeder

Select a sturdy, naturally curved branch, ideally from a willow or similar flexible tree. Clean and sand it smooth, then hollow out a section to create a hidden seed reservoir. Consider a food-safe sealant for durability.

Fashion a small, discreet feeding tray or platform at the base of the hollowed section. This can be a simple carved-out ledge or a small, securely attached wooden piece, designed to catch spilled seeds.

Incorporate a natural perch by extending a smaller, suitably placed twig from the main branch. Ensure it's secure and at a comfortable height for birds to land and feed.

Add a hanging mechanism, such as a sturdy eye hook screwed into the top of the main branch, or a rustic rope or leather cord. Position it so the feeder hangs level and is easily accessible for refilling.
