Vintage Patinated Copper Barometer Seed Station

Construct the main seed reservoir using a clear acrylic tube encased in a distressed mahogany frame. Add a patinated copper cap and base to evoke the look of a vintage scientific instrument.

Etch traditional barometer-style pressure scales into a brass faceplate attached to the side of the housing. This adds an authentic, scholarly flair that contrasts beautifully with the organic wood grain.

Install an adjustable brass seed-flow gate at the bottom, which mimics the appearance of a mercury adjustment knob. This allows you to regulate the amount of birdseed that reaches the feeding tray based on the species you want to attract.
