Calculate and cut precise compound-miter joints for the triangular cedar struts that form the geodesic frame. Assemble the triangles into pentagons and hexagons to ensure the dome curvature is structurally sound.

Install UV-resistant acrylic sheets into each frame section, securing them with silicone sealant for a watertight seal. This creates a transparent enclosure that allows birds to see the seed from every angle.

Construct a central seed hopper system inside the dome using a tapered wooden cylinder that distributes grain through gravity-fed openings at the base. Attach a circular landing platform around the exterior rim for easy bird perching.

Apply a natural, weather-resistant exterior wood oil to protect the cedar frame from the elements. Add a central ventilation cap at the peak of the dome to prevent humidity buildup and keep the birdseed fresh.
