Insert a removable acrylic basin into the lower curve of the wave to act as the primary seed reservoir. This tray can be slid out easily for cleaning and refilling without disturbing the decorative wooden shell.

Apply a marine-grade exterior finish to the plywood edges to protect against weathering and to highlight the contrasting wood grains. Mount the unit using a hidden stainless steel bracket to give the impression that the wooden wave is floating in mid-air.
