Install an adjustable gravity-fed baffle inside the base to regulate the flow of seed into the feeding tray. This mechanism is operated by a decorative brass side crank, allowing the user to control the pace at which seeds are dispensed into the catchment bowl.

Finish the project with a high-durability exterior spar urethane to protect the wood from moisture while highlighting the natural grain of the cherry and oak. Attach a hand-forged wrought iron mounting bracket to ensure the finished piece remains stable even during high winds.
