Begin by crafting the fuselage from a hollowed-out cedar log, creating an internal cavity that serves as the central grain storage silo. Ensure the walls are thick enough to support the wings and tail assembly while remaining light enough to balance securely on a mounting bracket.

Construct the biplane wings using thin, steam-bent basswood ribs layered with cedar veneer to achieve an authentic curved airfoil shape. Attach the wings to the fuselage using brass threaded rods, which provide both structural integrity and a refined metallic contrast to the natural wood grain.

Carve a detailed wooden propeller from a solid block of cherry, mounting it onto a low-friction ball-bearing spindle at the nose of the plane. Integrate a small cam mechanism inside the fuselage so that as the propeller spins in the wind, it gently vibrates a discharge gate to release seeds at a controlled rate.

Finish the assembly with a light coat of spar urethane to protect the wood from weathering while maintaining a warm, classic aesthetic. Add leather accents around the cockpit area and a tail-mounted perching rod to complete the vintage aviation look before mounting it on a sturdy, height-adjustable steel rod.
