The structural foundation utilizes heavy-duty galvanized tension rings that anchor the barrel frame to the primary tree trunks without penetrating the cambium layer. This circular design ensures even load distribution across the tree-mounted platform.

Stave construction involves precision-milled Western Red Cedar planks featuring tongue-and-groove joinery for a watertight seal. Each board is gently steam-bent to follow the curvature of the horizontal cylinder.

A custom tempered glass observation wall is integrated into the front facet, providing uninterrupted views of the surrounding forest canopy. The framing is reinforced with hidden steel braces to maintain the integrity of the curved facade.

The interior is outfitted with ergonomic floating cedar benches and a low-profile heating element mounted away from wood surfaces. Natural ventilation is controlled through adjustable cedar louvers to regulate heat intensity and comfort levels.
