The structural frame utilizes a pentagonal geodesic geometry to provide stability against sway while maximizing internal space. Each beam is CNC-routed from rot-resistant cedar to ensure interlocking connections that minimize the need for external metal hardware.

Exterior walls are constructed from CNC-milled aluminum panels integrated into the woodwork, featuring dense, tree-branch-inspired stencil patterns. These apertures serve as both structural bracing and as a natural aperture system for capturing ambient light.

The interior features a polished maple floor, finished with a high-durability natural oil to provide a clear, reflective surface. This allows the light filtering through the exterior silhouettes to bounce clearly, creating dynamic shadow art that evolves as the sun moves.

For night use, a recessed LED system is hidden behind the perimeter framing to cast diffused light outward through the cutouts. This converts the entire pavilion into a giant, glowing lantern visible from the forest floor below.
