The foundation utilizes a series of tension-balanced steel brackets that allow the deck to float independently from the tree trunks. This design minimizes structural vibration transfer while maintaining a sturdy platform for the heavy stone instrumentation.

Hand-selected river stones are carefully calibrated by thickness and density to achieve specific musical notes when struck. Each slab is mounted on vulcanized rubber bushings to ensure maximum acoustic resonance and clear tonal output.

The surrounding wall panels feature geometric cutouts modeled after acoustic diffusion plates to direct sound toward the center of the nook. These wooden baffles are charred using the shou sugi ban technique for weather resistance and an organic, weathered appearance.

A custom mallet storage system is integrated into the structural joists, featuring reclaimed hardwood handles and soft felt tips. This ensures that guests can interact with the lithic surfaces without damaging the delicate stone edges.
