Fabricate the interior walls using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, incorporating sliding panels made of cedar battens and translucent rice-paper-effect polycarbonate sheets. This design allows for adjustable airflow while maintaining a soft, diffused light quality throughout the space.

Install built-in bonsai display niches carved from live-edge burl wood, recessed directly into the partition walls at various eye levels. These alcoves serve as the focal point of the pavilion, grounding the airy structure with elements of natural sculpture.

Complete the pavilion with a tiered, cedar-shingle 'pagoda' roof designed with wide eaves to protect the interior from rain while maintaining a light, hovering aesthetic. Finish all surfaces with a clear, marine-grade outdoor oil to preserve the rich, natural color of the redwood.
