The foundation is built using a non-invasive friction-fit frame that grips the primary tree crotch without bolting into the living tissue. This skeletal structure uses reclaimed cedar treated with a natural wax finish to ensure longevity and weather resistance.

Each cedar shingle is carved into specific geometries to act as a soundboard for rainwater, directing droplets into a series of integrated resonance basins. These surfaces are coated in a hydrophobic mycelium-composite sealant that enhances acoustic resonance while providing a natural aesthetic.

The interior walls are lined with modular, mycelium-infused acoustic panels that absorb ambient wind noise while isolating the crisp percussion of the rain-drums. These panels feature fractal-inspired perforations that create a deep, immersive soundstage for the listener inside.

Final installation involves calibrating the pitch of each resonance basin to create a harmonious C-major scale when hit by varying rain intensities. A wrap-around mycelium-bonded railing provides a secure perimeter for guests to observe the tree canopy and storm patterns in comfort.
