Construct the main hexagonal deck using mortise-and-tenon joints to ensure structural stability against wind loads. The floorboards are milled from reclaimed white oak to provide a solid, resonant base for the central pendulum mechanism.

Install the central heavy-duty arbor in the middle of the platform to serve as the pivot point for the hanging pendulum. This axis uses low-friction ball bearings to allow the weight to capture and amplify the subtle natural movements of the host tree.

Craft the swinging pendulum weight from hand-turned mahogany and weighted lead, suspended by high-tensile braided steel cables. The weight is calibrated to swing just above the floor, turning the act of sitting into an immersive experience of shifting centers of gravity.

Complete the enclosure with wrap-around glass panels framed in steam-bent ash, providing an uninterrupted view of the forest. The glass allows guests to watch the external trees move in harmony with the internal motion of the pendulum.
